This series explores the idea of home through deconstructed houses -- a recurring theme in Lesia Mokrycke's work that has taken on deeper meaning in recent years as both personal and collective landscapes have shifted.

In these pieces -- a fragmented building, pieces of windows and walls -- recede through a cacophony of plants, creating moments of beauty amidst uncertainty and disorder. At its heart, this series reflects on themes of loss, memory and resilience -- where the garden slowly reclaims what was once built or solid, and something wilder begins to emerge.
